• inscription: recto, upper edge, above design, at center, ink, handwritten: fo. [?] 74e. [likely for '74th folio']
• watermark: middle right edge of design, paper, pressed paper: 'B' in shield surmounted by a cross; countermark with horseman in a shield: most similar to Briquet, vol. III, nos. 8068-807, ascribed to Bruges, Amsterdam, and Brussels as well as about ten other European cities, c. 1560-80.
