Rendered in fine dark ink lines and black washes, a family is portrayed gathered in a room. At center-right, a woman with dark wavy hair is seated in an armchair, holding a small child to her shoulder. She wears a dress patterned with stars, earrings and a necklace and bracelets. Two larger children stand in front of her, one at center in a skirt leaning against the woman’s legs, and one at lower left in a tee shirt and jeans. At upper center-left, a man in a suit with close cropped dark hair stands next to the woman with his arm around her shoulder.
