2010.538.3: A Wet Day On The Boulevard - Paris
PhotographsA black-and-white photograph portrays figures crossing a Parisian Boulevard via sidewalk on a rainy, wet day. Figures are holding umbrellas and are dressed formally, in top hats and long coats. Numerous horse and carriages are in the distance, traveling behind one another on a main road. Beyond the horse and carriages are multi-storied buildings, along tree lined roads. Shops are featured outside the buildings, with sidewalk entrances. Canopy’s cover the shops from the rain.
