- Description

Wheelmade lamp with shallow body, incurving walls, curved rim, and broad filling hole. Band handle at rear slopes slightly upward from the horizontal. Short, rounded, bridged nozzle with oval wick hole. No base. Concavity at underside creates convexity at floor of oil chamber that terminates in a conical point.
Dark buff, micaceous clay with small sandy inclusions. Dipped in orange slip at handle and nozzle. Nozzle and bridge blackened from use. Slight chipping at rim and on body walls.
