M10909: Mme Natanson
PrintsA drawing printed in dark olive green on tan paper. Lightly sketched lines and some shaded areas depict a woman seen from behind as she sits in a chair of a balcony. Her shoulders are bare and her sleeves puff out on either side of her, as her gown extends to the floor. She holds something in her lap, like a bouquet, and leans forward slightly. She looks out at a stage below where a partially raised curtain reveals the feet of several performers behind it.
