Apparently, the sword blade was found concealed in a drain in a villa of the 5th-6th centuries AD (this must be "Building B", erected no earlier than 395 AD and no later than 527 AD on the basis of the coin finds); is there a connection with the Persian occupation or the Arab invasion in the 7th century?
