1998.34: Woman Sewing
DrawingsA woman wearing a blue top, leans forward from the left center, into a table where she’s hand sewing a flat yellow garment with a grid pattern, possibly a quilt or blanket. The garment flows into the lower right of the drawing. Her face has the most detail as she intently looks down at the garment. Her brown hair is tucked up high, neatly behind her head, with bangs covering her forehead. Her hands are rendered in pencil, and the right hand is highlighted in white strokes. The background consists of a wall of diagonal dotted lines over wide blue and light blue vertical stripes.
