Descriptions

Description: A pair of silvery shears lie beside a blue and white porcelain bowl upon the edge of which hangs a dandelion plant and another lies on the floor. A small nail file is in the background.
Commentary: Poem by Shinshotei Shigenari 森松亭繁成:
“With carefully manicured hands and pure thoughts, grasses of seven different kinds are picked from the field for the New Year table.”
