Descriptions

Description
This photograph represents a bearded, young Korean man seated on a bench in a room before a folding screen. The man wears a man's traditional Korean robe and tiered hat of woven horsehair. Two young girls in traditional robes stand at his proper right; the small square table at his proper left supports several books. The folding screen at the back depicts geese and reeds. A cylindrical flowerpot with an old plum tree stands on the floor, in front of the table; the plum tree lacks both leaves and blossoms.
