Descriptions

Description
(Second in from right, top row in image.) Spout pierced just below rim. The surface has a fine slip and is intentionally mottled, characteristic of the ware. Reddish fabric. Some pits, scratches, interior of spout encrusted. Handmade. On interior, in ink, "Vasilike 2200"; it is unclear is this is identifying the site, the ware, or both.
