Archdn Denison) take this sketch in the/same good humour."/"This was drawn in the end of 1863 or beginning of 1864 at/the time shen the question about the stipend of the Regius Professor of/Greek was bfore the University./[Greek inscription] is Archdeacon Denison./[Greek inscription] Dr. Lightfoot of Exeter (at that time V.C.)/[Greek inscription] Profr. Jowett/[Greek inscription] are Dr. Jacobson late Regius Professor of Divinity &/now Bishop of Chester & Mr. Conington Professor of Latin."
