A darkened scene of three men hanging from crosses with a crowd gathered underneath.

Light emanates from the top, casting light on Christ in the center on a cross and a second cross in three-quarter view on left. Deep shadow hides a third cross on right. A few men sit on horseback below on left, one solider holds up a sword, the other wears robes and a tall turban-like hat holding up a spear. Another man behind them controls a horse with its front legs up. A crowd of people sit in deep shadow on right. The print is rendered in dramatic contrast of lights and darks, strong etched lines provide texture.
