Description
This painting features an outdoor wrestling ring. On the right, Krishna, the eighth avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu who is worshipped as a deity in his own right, congratulates a wrestler. On the left, his brother, Lakshmana, does the same. In front of them is a group of bloodied and unconscious wrestlers. Pahari Style, Guler School.
