The painted ink image is of a robed man standing in front of a grey, angular tree. There are small, green strokes in a line in the background. The man’s robe is grey and covers his whole body and the back of his head. His face is peach-colored with a small, grey beard. He is standing on a piece of land that is geometric in shape and turquoise around the edges. The man is to the bottom-left and looking up at a flying crane that is to the top-right. The crane is facing away and to the right with its wings outstretched and legs bent down. The top of the crane’s head is red and its body is white with spots of black. There are three vertical rows of Chinese writing in black ink to the right side of the image.
