376 Slit Tube
Light greenish gray translucent jade with a rough surface, fashioned into a cylindrical tube that is fluted horizontally and cut open vertically. The perforation was drilled from both sides. Top and bottom faces are plain and even. Early Eastern Chou, about 7th century B.C.
