Descriptions Description Small cauldron supported on three conical feet with globular body, indented neck, and lightly flared lip; lightly burnished blackened earthenware with incised bowstring lines around the shoulder. Longshan culture; from Shandong province. Commentary Compare to: Black earthenware tripod cauldron excavated from a Longshan period site at Sanlihe, Jiaoxian, Shandong province.
